How to add your cottage.

The easy way.

Simply email us at info@theholidaydirectory.co.uk tell us your website address and give us an email address and password you wish to use to login to your account. We will create your page for you by copying wording, text and pictures from your own site. We will then send you an email with details of how to open your account page. From this page you can edit your ad page as often as you wish without further charge. You can also upload a video to show prospective customers around your holiday cottage and also any views from the cottage.

The not quite so easy way.

First register, then click ‘login’ on the top menu bar and use the email and password you used to register, you will be taken to your new accounts page where you will see ‘add accommodation’ click on this and a form will appear. Fill in the form putting lots of information in the description box. A good idea is to copy and paste it from your website.(boxes with an asterisk must have something in) click continue.

Click the 'save' button at the bottom of the page every few minutes to avoid being ‘timed out’ and also when you have finished. (Your ad is now saved in our admin system awaiting notification of payment. It will not be activated until the content has been checked, this is usually within 24 hours).

Then click on wording to go back to the choices. You now see a payment button. Click and follow through payment system. I am then informed and activate the account usually within 24 hours. A welcome letter and invoice will be emailed for your records.

Before clicking the payment button you can at this stage press the preview button to see what it looks like and go back and change it if you want by clicking edit. You can do that anytime though so it's not important now.

You can then edit the page whenever you wish and upload a picture either before or after activation.
